Autumn has Arrived!

Yes, the leaves have changed color and yes, many of them have left the trees although we still have lots of color remaining around Sewall Road. The lake level continues to drop and the vast majority of people have had us pull their boats for winter storage. If you're one of the few that still has your boat in the water, it's time to call us and arrange that all important winterization before the mercury really takes a dip.

We usually advise people to get their boats out by November 1st if at all possible. The insurance companies like to use that date as a general "out of the water" yardstick although they will extend it further into the season if you contact them.

For those of you who store your boats with us in the winter, we thank you! Because of you we can afford to keep all of our skilled technicians throughout the off season. This means better service all the time because we are proud of the workers we have and hope to keep the winning team together. We promise to take good care of your boat until you tell us to launch it next spring. Just a reminder that we will mail out the Spring Checklist just before "Ice Out" so you will have enough time to tell us when you want your boat and what maintainence items you would like us to perform. Don't worry about that stuff now, we will be back in touch in before Spring.

Bragging Rights
Are we allowed to brag a little? Yes? OK then here goes. Just this April we were presented with the Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce prestigious "Beautification Award". This is for "Outstanding efforts in making the Wolfeboro area more attractive, for the benefit of the community." It recognizes overwhelming and substantive improvement to a pre-existing site. That's us! We are so proud of our facility here and are very happy that our customers get to benefit from the great improvements we have made. It's not often that a town goes out of its way to recognize superior accomplishments and we really appreciate this honor from the Town of Wolfeboro, "The Oldest Summer Resort in America".

Rental Boat Discounts
For those of you who rent boats from us-GOOD NEWS! All of our boats rented between May 1, 2009 and June 14, 2009 are being offered at a 50% discount. We have found that in spite of the weather being great in May and June many people do not take advantage of our fleet of Ebbtide bow riders and Tahoe Pontoon Boats. This means that these excellent crafts sit being unused (at least half of them) at our docks or in our building. So we decided to give you an incentive to take advantage of these boats. Both the daily rates and the weekly rates will be cut in half! Call us ASAP to take advantage of this and have some fun out on The Big Lake!

Boat Registrations
Maybe the best for last! We are now "Boat Agents for the State of NH".  That means we can do boat registrations in house. For those of you who own boats and would like to get them registered you can do so right here at our office or you can mail them to us. This is important because all that money you pay for "Boat Fee" on the NH Boat registration goes to the town in which it is collected. In our case that goes to the Town of Wolfeboro which will use it for the town docks and other waterfront projects. Hence it helps us all.
