Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the rental day?
A full day rental begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM. Half Day rentals begin at 11:30 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. Reservations can only be accepted for a minimum full day rental. There are no half-day reservations.
Are early pick-ups or late drop-offs available?
If you wish to pick up your boat the day before your rental begins you may do so between the hours of 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM provided the boat is available. You may also keep your boat until the next morning but it must be turned in no later than 8:00 AM so that we may get it ready for the next renter. For either the Early Pick up or the Late Drop off you must let us know in advance and there is a $50.00 charge for either option you choose.
What happens when we come to pick up the boat?
We will collect the balance of your fee when you arrive. A damage deposit consisting of a credit card swipe or $2,000.00 cash is required at check in time. Sorry, no checks for the damage deposit can be accepted. This deposit will be returned to you at the end of your rental period provided the boat, accessories, engine, and drive suffer no damage or loss. You will be given a very thorough check out on the boat you rent before leaving the dock. If you are unsure of any operation procedure and would like to be taken out for an on the water demonstration we will be glad to oblige you.
Are there late fees?
Please help us! We need time to get the boats ready for the next renter. We want everyone to enjoy their time out on the water and we work hard to achieve that end. Also, our people need to go home at the end of the day and enjoy their families. We only ask that you return the boat on time. Unless you have made prior arrangements a late fee of $50.00 per half hour will be assessed.
What safety equipment is included in the boat?

Do I need a NH boat operator's license to rent a boat?
Can we use the boat on lakes other than Lake Winnipesaukee?
Single day rentals are restricted to Lake Winnipesaukee. Boat delivery to other lakes is only available for multi-day rentals. We will need to charge you for delivery and pick up which will be determined by the use of a truck, trailer and a delivery person. We do not provide any charts to non Winnipesaukee lakes.
